Punjab Police booked Seabird International Immigration company owner in two cheating cases


 


CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Police has registered two cases of cheating and criminal conspiracy against Gurinder Singh owner of Seabird International Private Limited, an immigration agent at Mohali having its office in Phase 11.

The cases were registerd following raid by Enfocement Directorare officials. A case under arms act has also been registered agaisnt Gurinder Singh on recovery of replica of a revolver. Gurinder Singh us absconding.

The police said that they have recovered 27 fake stamps of senior government officials including Deputy Commissioner Mohali and Executive Magistrates. Three stamps of different banks and a stamp of doctor have also been recovered. The exoensive toy pistol was recovered from his residence in sector 70.

The ED team had raided office of the immigration company after receiving complaint under Foreign Exchange  Management Act and recovered an amount of Rs.22 lakhs and some objectionable material.

The police has registerted case under sections 420,472,473 adn 120 B of IPOC in Phase 11 police station while another case under arms act has been registered in Sohana police station.
