Punjab Police booked Seabird International Immigration company owner in two cheating cases

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Police has registered two cases of cheating and criminal conspiracy against Gurinder Singh owner of Seabird International Private Limited, an immigration agent at Mohali having its office in Phase 11.

The cases were registerd following raid by Enfocement Directorare officials. A case under arms act has also been registered agaisnt Gurinder Singh on recovery of replica of a revolver. Gurinder Singh us absconding.

The police said that they have recovered 27 fake stamps of senior government officials including Deputy Commissioner Mohali and Executive Magistrates. Three stamps of different banks and a stamp of doctor have also been recovered. The exoensive toy pistol was recovered from his residence in sector 70.

The ED team had raided office of the immigration company after receiving complaint under Foreign Exchange  Management Act and recovered an amount of Rs.22 lakhs and some objectionable material.

The police has registerted case under sections 420,472,473 adn 120 B of IPOC in Phase 11 police station while another case under arms act has been registered in Sohana police station.

  A local court has issued the arrest warrants of  Col BS Sandhu , the chairman and MD of World Wide Immigration Consultancy Services Ltd WWICS in a case related to murder. 60-Year-Old Gropes Woman on Indigo Flight; Says he 'Made a Mistake

A 32-year-old woman confronted a 60-year-old businessman, who allegedly groped her repeatedly on an Indigo flight from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar, and then videotaped him. She lodged a police complaint and posted the two videos on the social media. The police arrested the man after the plane landed at Bhubaneswar airport; however, they let him go after serving a notice to him. The police said he'll have to appear before the court once the date for hearing is finalised. Bengaluru pub brawl: Congress MLA Haris’ son surrenders

Karnataka Youth Congress general secretary Mohammed Nalapad, who is the son of Congress MLA NA Haris, allegedly attacked a youth along with his friends after an argument at a pub in UB City Mall on Saturday night.   Karnataka Youth Congress general secretary Mohammed Nalapad, who is accused of assaulting a man in a Bengaluru pub, surrendered before police on Monday. Son of Congress MLA NA Haris, 30-year-old Nalapad allegedly attacked a youth along with his friends at a pub in UB City Mall on Saturday night. With the elections just around the corner, the Congress took moved swiftly and removed Nalapad from the party for six years.
