immigration agents booked for possession of fake stamps

Mohali: Two persons from an immigration company in Mohali have been booked by local police following the raid conducted by the enforcement directorate (ED) at their office in Phase X, Mohali where 30 counterfeit stamps were found on Wednesday. The accused have been identified as Gurinder Singh, the owner of Seabird International Private Limited, an immigration company at Phase X. He has been booked for cheating and criminal conspiracy. Gurinder, along with his partner, Pritpal Singh, a resident of Sector 70, Mohali have been collectively booked under the Arms Act at Mataur Police Station. One replica of a handgun was found from the latter's house on Wednesday. The local police is ascertaining the hideouts of the accused persons. Punjab Police booked Seabird International Immigration company owner in two cheating cases

  CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Police has registered two cases of cheating and criminal conspiracy against Gurinder Singh owner of Seabird International Private Limited, an immigration agent at Mohali having its office in Phase 11. The cases were registerd following raid by Enfocement Directorare officials. A case under arms act has also been registered agaisnt Gurinder Singh on recovery of replica of a revolver. Owner of Seabird firm booked for cheating

Tribune News Service Mohali, October 11 Owner of a local immigration consultancy firm has been booked in two different cases by the local police following a raid by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here. According to the police, they have booked Gurinder Singh, owner of Seabird International Private Limited at Phase XI, for cheating and criminal conspiracy. Another case under the Arms Act has been slapped against him. As per information, the police recovered 27 fake stamps of senior government officials, including deputy commissioners, tehsildars and executive magistrates.
