60-Year-Old Gropes Woman on Indigo Flight; Says he 'Made a Mistake

A 32-year-old woman confronted a 60-year-old businessman, who allegedly groped her repeatedly on an Indigo flight from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar, and then videotaped him. She lodged a police complaint and posted the two videos on the social media.
The police arrested the man after the plane landed at Bhubaneswar airport; however, they let him go after serving a notice to him. The police said he'll have to appear before the court once the date for hearing is finalised.
"Yes we can allow the accused to go home in cases which have punishment (of) less than seven years," NDTV quoted a police officer as saying.
In the two videos that the woman later posted on YouTube, the man is seen asking for forgiveness and saying that he had made a mistake.
"For touching you, I want to give a written apology," says the businessman Ravin Jhunjhunwalafrom Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in one of the two videos.
When the woman asked him why he had done such a shameful thing, he replied, "I made a mistake...it is a mistake madam. Everybody makes mistake in life and I made a mistake... is a big mistake".
Another man asked him whether what he did was a mistake or was intentional, the businessman reiterated his stand saying, "It was a mistake". The man also admits on camera that he has a daughter.
The woman then asked how he would feel if somebody does the same to his daughter, the business casually replied saying he'll forgive the person if he apologises.
The woman later threatened to take action against him and give him the punishment he deserves. The molester requests her not to do so. "I have already got the punishment... I've already faced the humiliation," the man is heard saying in the video.
The other video shows the businessman repeatedly seeking the woman's forgiveness inside the plane, while trying to hide his face with his hand.
At that time, the woman asked him: "You're asking for forgiveness, why, because I'm a girl? And you have the right to touch me anytime, anywhere you want to?" But the man continues to apologise.

The woman described the circumstances that forced her to take such an action against the elderly man, who was allegedly touching her through the gap between two seats.
"I was very shocked for some time to react. By then the flight went to landing mode. Then the moment flight touched down, I got up. Saw his hand was again on the side ready to take up any opportunity to touch me. I created such a scene, humiliated him in front of the whole flight," she wrote.
"I clicked his pictures and made videos, shouted so loud that the entire plane came forward to see him. I made sure I humiliate him as much as possible because I know law will do nothing," she added.
