Adesh varsity accused of harassing students
Complaints have been lodged at the office of the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, and Additional Director General of Police (Crime) against Adesh University, Bathinda, for non-refund of the fee of those students, who have been selected in other institutes and have vacated their seats. The Bathinda police have started investigation as it has been marked to SP (City) Jaskaran Singh. The authorities of Adesh University have refuted the allegations. Vipul Babuta, advocate of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, has sent the complaint on behalf of Mahima Gulati, a resident of Civil Lines, Ludhiana. It has been alleged that Mahima had taken admission in Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Barnala road, Bathinda, (Adesh University) under the BDS course, session 2016-2017, through NEET-2016.
